In 17 short days, I hope to see each and every one of you in Grapevine at the 65th THCA Annual Convention and Trade Show. With over 170 outstanding business members participating in the Trade Show, five different educational tracks, national keynote speakers including Governor Mark Parkinson, President/CEO, American Health Care Association and hundreds of your peers and colleagues…..we look forward to making this 65th Anniversary Convention the best yet!
Also, don’t forget….the deadline for submitting your comments to CMS concerning the proposed rule on Requirements of Participation for Skilled Nursing Facilities is September 14th. There are substantial proposed changes in these 400+ pages of proposed rules that will have an impact on our profession. Now is the time for your voice to be heard. I encourage every member to submit your comments to CMS and impress upon them the significance of the proposed changes. For additional information, go the “Take Action” page of the AHCA website or contact Dorothy Crawford, Director of Policy and Regulatory Analysis at THCA.
