DADS Information Letter No. 15-37: FY 2015 Claims Billing Closeout
On June 24, 2015, the Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) issued Information Letter No. 15-37, reminding providers to promptly submit claims for any unbilled services to prepare for the end of the state fiscal year, August 31, 2015. Claims not submitted and/or recoupment issues not resolved within the 12-month filing limitation will become “miscellaneous claims” which can then only be paid on a first-come, first-served basis using funds appropriated during each legislative session.
