Monthly Medicaid Occupancy ReportingDADS requires that Medicaid Occupancy Reports for nursing facilities be submitted in the Medicaid Occupancy Reporting System no later than the fifth (5th) day of the month. Reports submitted after the 5th of the month are subject to vendor payment hold. DADS stated that: In accordance with the Texas Administrative Code Title 40, Part 1, Chapter 19, §19.2322(l), Medicaid-certified nursing facilities are required to submit monthly occupancy reports to the Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) in the manner prescribed by DADS no later than the fifth (5th) day of the month following the last day of the reporting period. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in DADS withholding vendor payments until the report is complete. Do not fax or email your data. DADS will not consider it submitted until the reporting information has been entered into the Medicaid Occupancy Report System.
