Starting August 1, All Medicaid Occupancy Reports Must Be Submitted OnlineAs of Aug. 1, 2015, all nursing facility providers must submit Medicaid occupancy reports online through the Monthly Medicaid Occupancy Reporting portal. DADS will not accept occupancy information submitted any other way. Failure to submit a report on time via the online system will result in DADS placing a facility on vendor hold. Medicaid occupancy reports are due by the 5th of each month. To help nursing facilities submit occupancy data on time, DADS will email providers a reminder on the 1st of each month. If a facility tries to enter data twice, the online system will alert them. The system will also allow providers to make a copy of the information they submit. Please review the Medicaid Occupancy Report Instructions before using the online system for the first time.
