Nursing facility webinars to assist with the transition to Managed Care

Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership (TMHP) will offer informational webinars targeted specifically to Nursing Facilities and designed to assist with the transition to STAR+PLUS managed care. The webinars will address the changes to TexMedConnect and the claims forwarding process, and will offer detailed information on the following:

• New Claims Entry fields for institutional claims
• Using Medicaid Eligibility and Service Authorization Verification (MESAV) to identify payer for forwarded claims
• “Mixed Detail Service Line” submissions
• Viewing Claim Status and information in Batch History
• Using Claim Status Inquiry (CSI) to look up claims forwarded to managed care organizations (MCOs)
• MCO CSI Details screen

The last one-hour Nursing Facility webinar is scheduled for March 9, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. Providers can register for this webinar by CLICKING HERE.
