Houston LNFA:  This educational offering has been submitted to the National Continuing Education Review Service (NCERS) of the National Association of Boards of Examiners of Long Term Care Administrators (NAB) for up to 6 clock hours and 6 participant hours per day, including 2 hours of Ethics per day.  The primary domains being addressed in both days are 10.00 Resident Care and Quality of Life and 50.00 Leadership and Management.

August 14 The Elements of Care Planning:  2008 Joint Conference San Antonio

Administrators - 6 hours NAB
This conference will provide 6 clock hours of continuing education hours for Nursing Facility Administrators according to 40 Texas Administrative Code §18.35 through the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services.

Nurses - TBD Type I contact hours
Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services—Regulatory Services Division is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Texas Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
This activity meets Type I criteria for mandatory continuing education requirements toward relicensure as established by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas.

Social Workers - 0.6 clock hours
The Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services is an approved provider for the Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners. This program will be approved for clock hours for Texas Licensed Social Workers - Provider #CS4649.

To qualify for CEU credits, you must attend the whole conference.
